Angelo Martellotta
Angelo Martellotta, born in Alberobello in 1947, was a teacher at the Elementary School of Alberobello. For over thirty years he has been involved in local and regional historical research, paying particular attention to biographies, some of which have been published in local periodicals. For years he has collaborated on the magazine Bari-Economia, published by the Chamber of Commerce, and on Riflessioni - Umanesimo della Pietra di Martina Franca. He created the historical archive Corpus Scriptorum Arborbellensium and the research series Quaderni culturali - Testimonianze di Storia Patria, now in its twelfth issue. He has a number of historical research publications, essays and several reports.
