Vittorio Del Piano

Vittorio Del Piano was born in Grottaglie/Taranto, to a father from Salento and a mother from Basilicata, on 12 January 1941. Artist and former teacher of the Academy of Fine Arts of Bari (Miur/Afam) chair of Theory and Method of mass media, cinema, videotape, association image-sound, since childhood has been interested in the art of puppets, photography, cinema, of ceramics, of stone sculpture. In the 1950s he studied in Salerno at the boarding school «A. Colautti», befriended Marcello Rumma and became interested in painting, publishing, books and art printing.
