Bernard Franco
Bernard Franco is professor of comparative literature at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, where he is the current director of the UFR of French and comparative literature. His works deal with issues of dramaturgy in European romanticism, Franco-German literary transfers, the relationship between literature and aesthetics. Among his main publications is Il dispotismo del gusto. Debate on the tragic German model in France, 1797-1814 (Göttingen, Wallstein, 2006).
