Donato Semeraro

Donato Semeraro, teacher, horn player and composer. He has devoted himself to research on didactic aspects of the horn for years in hopes of enhancing the various schools of teaching. He is one of the authors of the Scomegna and Volontè&co editions, an award-winning director and composer at many national and international contests, and a performer both in Italy and abroad. As a composer and arranger for various orchestras and ensembles, he also works for the Police Band and for the Gomalan Brass Quintet to name a couple. He was a musical consultant at the Ministry of Heritage and Cultural Activities. As horn teacher, he has taught at: “F. Petrarca” High School of music in Arezzo; “F. Torrefranca” Conservatory in Vibo Valentia; “Scientia et ars” International Polytechnic University in Vibo Valentia; “G. da Venosa” Conservatory in Potenza He is currently the horn teacher at the “N. Piccinni” conservatory in Bari.
