Jan Goes
Jan Goes studied Romance and Oriental Philology at the University of Ghent (Belgium) where he received a PhD in French Linguistics in 1996. Her thesis was crowned by the Royal Academy of Sciences, Letters and Fine Arts of Belgium. He is a professor (exceptional class) in linguistics and French as a foreign language at the University of Artois and director of the Grammatica research centre. Jan Goes is a knight in the Order of Academic Palms.
