Patrick Picornot

Graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (ENSAD), with the congratulations of the Jury, Patrick Picornot practiced various professions: professor of plastic arts, decorator, graphic designer, gobeleterie designer (Cristal Lalique), librarian... With the poet Aumane Placide, he founded in 2009 the cultural association of law 1901 Parole & Poésie. The following year, they created the quarterly review of poetry Rose des temps. In addition, Patrick Picornot manages two collections as part of his associative edition: the Barque au Soleil Collection, dedicated to! 'History of Parisian poets and literary movements; the Collection of! 'Églantier, publishing collections of contemporary French-language authors. Finally, he organizes poetic and musical shows for small Parisian stages, in collaboration with Aumane Placide, performer, and Victor Korsakov, virtuoso accordionist. In parallel with these staging, Parole & Poésie develops, following long investigations on the ground and in books, poetic Parisian walks. In this sense, Patrick Picornot, among other books (collections, essays, monographs, anthologies), published À Paris dans les pas des poètes (Éditions Flammes Vives, 2016), a book consisting of fourteen poetic walks through the streets and centuries.
