Sylvie Jacobée Biriouk

Sylvie Biriouk was born in December 1962 in Charenton le Pont. She has been training in poetic writing since 1970 but in 1978 she wrote her first novels. In 1980 he began studying letters where he met Eric Sivry, writer and poet. A PhD student in 1996, she dedicated several critical works to the works of Maupassant or Yves Bonnefoy. He participated in the drafting of a school textbook at Nathan in 2007 and published an anthology of contemporary Francophone poets in 2010. At the same time she is the author of short story collections, Le Grand Tunnel (D'ici et d'Ailleurs), Mahaâva (Tensing) and Les Marcheurs (D'ici et d'Ailleurs), as well as poetic collections, including Les Arpents de l'aube (Schena), Cosmiques (KDP), Bloc-Notes-Notes-Notes (From here and Elsewhere)or Islandic, podcast collection in The Poetic Moment. He taught communication at Gustave Eiffel University and continues to teach literature and Latin at Bossuet High School in Meaux. For several years he led an artistic and literary program, «Le Pont des arts» on R.V.M., in the company of Eric Sivry.
