Collective maneuvering The unspeakable. Declinations of silence, censorship and self-censorship brings together a total of eight works proposing an eclectic and multidisciplinary approach on the different forms that censorship can take as a phenomenon of reprobation, control, filter, condemnation, implicit, unspoken or silent. In general, censorship refers to the suppression of information in the form of self-censorship, third-party boycott or official condemnation of the State before the message is broadcast (of a preventive nature), it can also be deployed in the form of punishment (repressive or posterior). It is thus traditionally associated with negative interference that would infringe on free expression or creation, especially when exercised by an external agent. For its part, self-censorship finds at the origin of the prohibition the author himself who, consciously or involuntarily, decides to silence or lets pass under silence certain elements of his speech. However, this silence cannot always be considered as a lack, on the contrary, it often stands as an unsuspected source of communication, initiating multiple forms of transmission and transgression.
