Fermentum: A «name linked to ancient liturgical customs». The «minutes», the accounts of the lessons and meetings with a priest «at the service of thought». A «group» of reflection and Christian action, for an army against the enemies of truth, against the enemies of probability – for whose reasonableness «we must bet» – against the narrow-minded. «Perhaps immodestly»: A brief theological and philosophical excursus in search of the truth, in search of ourselves. A short «discourse “on” God», on the «problem of God». A «process of God», of man, of modern culture and its language, of intellect, decision and faith. Brief «wrinkled fatigue» on many topical issues: from tangentopoli to sex education in schools, from artificial fertilization to democracy in the Church.
School of politics for young people: A school of politics to «rediscover» – in a few «information sheets or in-depth» and some «text for discussion» – «the religious connotation of politics», that is, that «politics is the continuation of prayer by other means»: «prayer» – warns Daniélou – «is a political act». A school of political philosophy that wants to encourage young people – to whom «it is not appropriate to be spectators» – and the less young, to «rediscover a political conscience, to take charge of the active coexistence of all men.»
