History of communication and information in Puglia

What does it mean to make the history of information and communication in Puglia, if you make history of local radio and television? It means delving into a kaleidoscope that brings together what have been free TV and radio with some completely different entrepreneurial forces but able to network to take on a national dimension. This book looks at these and other stories, moved by four souls: a prevailing contemporary historical soul, an economic/financial one and a legal one, with an appendix to the book, made of interviews to give voice to some protagonists of the radio and television of Puglia. The four strands go at the crossroads: the history of Apulian radio and television is made up of economies, rights to be enforced and respected, is the contemporary history of those who make information, to communicate what they think/know/see, there in their city, in their own country, in the countryside or on the sea. The history of Apulian radio and television has crossed many of us and continues to live in the words that are used, in the stories that are made, in the speeches that are heard: a voice that has become a long echo far in time, a voice that is today with its living presence in the homes of those who listen to it, of those who look at it and listen to it.
