This book consists of eight main parts. The first, Paris lieu du poème, invites the reader to a Parisian spatio-temporal stroll to discover the deep melting pot of moving poetry. In Paris, through the centuries, many poets with singular work walked in the way of justice and freedom. Today, in an increasingly segregative and liberticidal world, other poets pursue a similar and salutary approach. In this book, the choice of seven poets retains all its subjectivity. They are not all of «popular» origin but have in common their fundamental interest for the people, in every sense of the word. These seven poets are attentive to the other, to all the others. They manifest, each in their own way, a true humanism. Seven studies are devoted to them. Their names are Francis Carco, Robert Desnos, Jacques Prévert, Benjamin Fondane, Armen Lubin, Armand Robin and Georges Brassens.
